It is probably the worst looking car in my opinion. Also this has nothing to doing the the broken noses but I have never liked Red Bull/Toro Rosso's livery, it is much too cluttered.
I prefer the aggressive RB8 look. Its in-slot reminds me of old US-muscle cars (which i love for looks). please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Hi, been reading this forum for a while now & thought it was time I finally joined in! I don't have the knowledge most of you guys have but love the sport & very rarely miss a race (until this season for obvious reasons!) Go easy on me, this is my first venture in to an internet forum, but why the hell did people vote for Ferrari!!!
Welcome aboard Mikey! I suppose you could argue that having the car number on the bump makes it less obvious, but really, not a clue!
Thanks for the welcome guys. I've never been a big fan of Ferrari but they have a history of producing beautiful cars,on & off the race track! But this is just hideous! However looks aren't what matter in F1, so lets hope McLaren haven't messed up. Not that i'm a big fan of them till they had Jenson & Lewis as drivers. Was always a Johnny Herbert fan, gotta love an underdog! However I'm now an all out, British team (with a German engine) supporter!
Seems most people are in agreement with this one, the Fiat Multipla look-alikes aren't very inspiring.
Aah, I've finally understood why the Multipla looks so ugly! Clearly Fiat were one ahead of all the F1 teams here and using the step to improve air flow underneath the car to feed the blown floor!
I'm a little surprised to see this thread. But I suppose it guarantees McLaren winning something! Whether looks transpire to performance, is, of course, a completely different question; but on looks alone, the question is all but redundant.
McLaren dont have much chance of winning the WDC with there driver lineup unless they have the fastest car by about 2 secs do they.
Mclaren have arguably the best driver partnership on the grid so I'm not entirely sure what you're getting at here.
Perhaps that the drivers will keep taking points away from each other? Whereas that won''t happen at Ferrari and Red Bull. McLaren don't need a 2 second advantage to win the WDC but I do think they need a clear advantage. Back on topic, the stepped noses don't look as bad now as they were initially. I've gotten used to them and to be honest some look quite decent (though not nearly as good as a normal nose). Personally I don't like McLaren's fat rectangular sidepods, awkward exhaust position and bulky rear, so I can't vote for them. Voted for Caterham, because their nose is imo the best stepped nose and the rest of their car looks rather elegant.
if it's 2am and your still 'date' less, even your mates granny would do. That is the 2am rule (it's not one I've ever abided by, unless accidentally during a heavy duty vodka goggles situation.)
