Afternoon all. Thieving Scouser in your midst, to wish you all an enjoyable time on Sunday whether you're going to the match or not. I suspect it will be a great game with plenty of banter (and no booing) and may the best team win. I'm pissed off I won't be there, but the tickets are ridiculously hard to get hold of. Anyway, enjoy and no doubt we'll re-convene on one of the cross-board match threads next week
red hadron collider thank you...im hoping for a good game and that we don't get badly turned over, you do after all have some top quality players..Im living in the hope that your boys wont take us to seriously and we will go on and "steal it"..but enjoy the game not the result and all the best for the season after sunday..blooooobirds
It's a pleasure. I'm expecting it to be close, but make no mistake, Kenny will go all out to win this. He'd love a trophy (or two!) in his first full season. Also, if we do win, I firmly believe it'll set us up perfectly for a real push for fourth. Good luck in your promotion challenge this season
red hadron collider well i think it will be close...then i don't......then i do.....then i don't.....then i do...then i don't.....arghhhhhhhhhhhhh just the thought of bellers, gerrard, saurez and carroll running at us is a slightly a scary proposition from the stands to say the least..anyway i will be glad when its over so we can hopefully get our promotion push back on track after a run of some disappointing results.
RHC: Thanks for the post mate. Either way it should be a good day london: That pretty much sums up how I'm feeling too John: That team didn't score but they didn't concede either. I'm not sure I could survive another penalty shoot-out
h bomb honestly its killing me....and penaltiesi was going to wembley to support my beloved bluebirds sing my heart out for the boys and the manager and give them the praise they deserve for getting us there on what is a great day for all involved in the club but then malky mackay and all the players are coming out in interviews saying we are going to wembley to win this and to not lay down...its got me all in a fluster..i decided a few days ago we would lose 3-0..now i have no idea.....yes i do...no i don't..yes i do...no i don't..yes i do...arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
If it is a penalty shoot-out, you're in the box seats. Our penalty record this season has been nothing short of appalling
Cheers Red Win or lose we are intent on having another great day out at our second home. Hope both sets of fans are of the same mind and the day will be remembered for the right reasons. Liverpool are one of the great British clubs of the last 60 years and their fans are second to none. I'm looking forward to seeing how our boys match up against your current team. Quite honestly when looking at the Liverpool squad from back to front I wonder how we will cope but I am damn sure Malky will have our guys fired up to give it a real good go.
We're ok in that department. I think we've missed one pen in the last 3 shoot outs we've had. However, getting to that point is a different matter.
H bomb. Just seen your sig. If you like reggae, you want to visit the music thread on our board. Skylarker posts some far out reggae tunes
Cheers Red, got my case of Strongbow at the ready and have told my mrs how to use the Defibrillator just in case we win lol, two cities with very similar backgrounds hence the same sort of humour, should be a very good atmosphere there. I hope everyone going enjoys the day and gets back home safely
RHC, Not my 1st choice of music but an easy genre to get swept up in. We've got a Music thread going too. Theres some great stuff on there. I imagine this will get an airing on Sunday
I'd hate it to go to penalties, I don't think my ticker can take it! However, I don't want to lose either and over 90 minutes and extra time to be level with a good Liverpool side would be a great achievement. To be a winner at the end of 90 would be a fantastic achievement. My head say we won't win, my heart says will have a 3-0 win. Whatever the result I'm happy as it's another experience, on our rocky road, that I could only dream of 10 years ago C'mon bluebirds!!!
