Is the "Never Forget you're Welsh" sign still on Ely Bridge? Visited Cardiff City Centre this week for the first time in about 10 years. It's impressive and even Caroline St looked smart. How times have changed!
I was back in Cardiff for one day last September and couldn't believe the change in the city centre, but it was good to see the "Brains" bridge on what used to be the top end Penarth road. It was the only this bridge that helped me get my bearings when I went there! Didn't recognise the Hayes! What a change and I didn't even realise the orange buses had gone.

Spillers records is still going, amazing. Favourite hang out in the 70s in my punk days but I thought it would have died a noble death by now.
Yeah, its still going but they moved it from the Hayes into one of the Arcades. Oldest record shop in the world but it didn't fit in with the 'vision' of redevelopment.
Story going about that Aussie spent a aftertoon in his capital city and went to Spillers to get some dog food!!!!!
Which arcade have they moved it too? I was gutted the last time I went to The Hayes and saw it was gone.
