I like 2:25 Sandown - Song Sung Blue 4/1. Form strong behind Burton Port in 2010. Had problems as was off the track for 598 days before ran last. Trip looked too far. Drops back today. Ground fine. Comeback run should have put spot on. Good luck all with your bets.
Morning All. Struggling to get excited about todays fayre if I'm honest, managed to find a couple at Warwick to get me through a dull afternoon: 2.35 Lively Baron - has some decent form behind Harry the Viking and his opposition here won't be in the same league as that horse, unlikley to be a working mans price but any sort of odds against would be value IMO, fancy this one quite strongly.... For a price boost I may throw in Henderson's One Lucky lady in the 4.20, this one really ought to be 1/2 but will push Lively Baron up to around 2/1 and this one really should oblige, looks to be a decent sort, only Kings Miss Exhibitionist appears a danger and whilst they're closely rated on flat form Henderson's has hurdling experience. May also have a smal linterest in Henderson Milanella in the bumper, around 6s I think this one could turn out to be useful Good luck
Not very inspiring stuff today, just a couple of very small fancies: 4.40 Sandown - Old boy Mid Div And Creep had just about everything go against him in the Sussex National last time out but with better ground he looks worth a punt off 122 in this grade. 3.45 Warwick - Trigger The Light won over C&D in December and has had a nice break since disappointing on New Year's Eve. Alan King's Gelding goes well fresh and off a mark just 4lbs higher than his C&D victory in December can take this at decent odds. 5.20 Warwick - Plenty of interesting newcomers in the bumper but I think Weather Babe can finally get off the mark after a frustrating run of 3 second places. The last of those races, when just touched off by a decent sort in Umadachar, indicates she is really getting the hang of things and she can put her experience and allowance to good use here. Best of luck everyone
Just read this on the Sporting Life preview of next week's action: "Decent racing, too, at Leopardstown on Sunday, but it is fair to say most interest at the Dublin track could surround what goes on after the scheduled action has stopped. It has become a real tradition for top trainers to gallop some of the Cheltenham hopefuls, with lots of horses strutting their stuff in the gloom. It is fascinating stuff, and the great news this year is that the workers are set to carry number cloths to help the public identify them." Anybody likely to be going?
Good morning all... Hope we are all fit for the sporting weekend ahead... What with the England v Wales rugby, Carling Cup Final plus the ususal fare we have on offer over the next few days its the time of year that i really like. Most of the sports are leading up to a climax of cup finals, league winners, festivals etc... Just bubbling up nicely for the sporting year ahead... But at first glance its not a great day of racing, but there has to be a winner, so lets hope we csan find a few again today... Back in a bit...

not a bad days racing for us sickies. I quite fancy the old boy knighton combe in the 3.45 warwick. not too many miles on the clock. and on another note, now that swincombe flame is a definite for the mares hurdle why on earth is she 16-1? exeter racecourse tweet that nick Williams put her up as his charity bet at the preview last night so she's not going anywhere else, and without quevega there's little substance to the race. as I couldn't access my skybet account I've had to take the 14 with sleazy betvictor but still a good bet I feel at those odds.
He looks very hard to beat Nass but one I really like is Baby Mix. I think he is a real class act and I feel he had excuses last time. Travelled well until a bad mistake. If he is anything near the 13/2 forecast price he is a smashing bet. A poor days racing tbh for a Saturday aside from Kempton there is nothing worth punting on. Glad I am at the match
I think Baby Mix is a bit of a slow boat, don't think it has the gears of a Sadler's. Still easy to prove me wrong
Baby Mix would have done exactly what Sadlers Risk did on his hurdling debut if racing against those poor animals. He is potentially top class but beat fook all on debut
Just thought i'd highlight the below free chelt preview for any posters who reside this side of the water-Looks like a good panel except for that donkey don mcleann!!!! I met Gary O'Brien before and he is sound out and is very informative on irish racing 'Thursday, 8th March Café en Seine, Dawson Street, Dublin, 6.30pm. Hosted by Denis Kirwan and panel includes Barry Geraghty, Donn McClean, Gary O’Brien, Dave Keena and Kevin O’Ryan. Free entry, complimentary food served, all welcome. Sponsored by Betdaq'
What does everyone think then- Im thinking Sadlers Risk- I was looking at Dildar but his jumping LTO was a little bit green! And may let him down!
