Two of the best performing keepers this season have been Krul and Vorm neither of whom is in the Dutch squad.

Here is one for a different thread:
"Where have all the keepers gone.
    Long time passing"

I long since stopped caring what England do. The players a thoroughly unlikable bunch.

Absolutely agree, I couldn't care less anymore. Realised this when lost 4-1 to germany in WC, fleeting moment of disappointment and then who gives a **** about these overpaid tossers. No affinity or identification with them.

That Holt and Ruddy aren't in the England squad is nothing short of a disgrace

All this has shown is that Pearce is a completely unacceptable candidate for the job as he lacks the backbone and football intelligence to lead. He's also displayed cowardice that would cost us in a tournament situation.

Pearce is completely hopeless, and absolutely dreadful coach who shouldn't be anywhere near the England set-up. His record with the under-21's is awful considering some of the talent he has had available, and he makes the same substitutions at the same point in every game regardless of the match situation.

A mate was telling me that he'd somehow got himself into the press box at an Arsenal game eaelier this season and Pearce was up there taking notes on the game. Well, at least that's what he should have been doing, my mate reckons he hardly paid any attention to the football and spent the whole time flicking through the racing pages picking out his gee-gees for the day <doh>

So Darren Bent got injured today, probably resulting in his withdrawal from the England squad. It would be an absolute travesty if his replacement wasn't Grant Holt.
