I am sure I can hear the laptop work out whether the pistons should start up, or just leave it a little while after all there is no hurry
Is it one with valves in it that glow when turned on? TV used to have them and when one blew you could get a replacement from the local shop. My new laptop is faster than the old one, but because of the AZERTY keyboard I am now typing slower than on the old one.
When I did my apprenticeship at a very well know supplier of Telecomm's test equipment, many of the signal generators we made were still stuffed with valves. Great technology but a little dangerous - 2Kv DC can make you jump! Mind you, this was the late 70's as well! Get some new key-caps and remap the keyboard to a UK one and you will be back to full speed OFH
Well i had better go to bed. I have an early start tomorrow and cannot afford to me late. Night night H. Thanks again. See you all about tomorrow. please log in to view this image
