I agree, but SD needs someone to help him with journalists. He does say the wrong thing from sometimes. I was worried this would be the result against Nottingham Forest, as they had bad form but we survived that. From all reports Watford have been working towards a smack and unhappily it was from Crystal Palace. Now they have a clear head and can do something good on saturday with Southampton, I think a draw.
It is an odd thing to say...not sure it sends out the right message to fan or team...but he's learning...best i can say really!
Just watching 'Late Kick Off' where they talk about the Academy system and the proposed changes, including ours. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod...Off_London_and_the_South_East_2012_Episode_6/
Looks like a good move for him to get some games in. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/9550523.Bond_joins_Daggers_on_loan/
Neither of their full time keepers is particularly experienced, and Bond will almost certainly start the next two games. This looks like a genuine opportunity for him to play his way into the team and stay there for the rest of the season.
I see Craig Beattie has found a club after being released by Swansea, he is now plying his trade for Hearts, which is about his level me thinks! Never really got a chance with us!
What's this all about then? http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/9551267.Sky_Andrew/ The WO apologizing for a quote from Baz.
With the quotes from SD and now this, it looks as if he might be another loan signing that could win himself a contract if he is any good, rather like NN. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/9551226._I_feel_good__I_feel_confident_and_I_feel_prepared_/ For those who remember the early days of GT each season he tried to recruit players of a higher standard without the loan market. Could this be the approach that the current owner is taking?
Im not too sure about that. I understand he is a good keeper, but i want to see Bondy develop and become the second keeper. I think that if he gets the right loan next season he could be ready for a stint towards the end or at the very least pre-Season next year.
i have a feeling that if he works out, we'd sell Scott and make Bond the second keeper...could be wrong though...
I think you are right H, I think Loach has probably had enough of the section of Watford fans constantly berating him and wouldn't mind a way out. I would actually back him to have those 'fans' eating some humble pie in a few years with the right club and backing.
i do hope that happens...i feel so sorry for him..whatever he does, he hasn't found a way to turn those idiots around...i hope he finds a club that can find his talent again and we all watch him become a superstar (if he can't do that at Watford!)
I'd prefer him to find a little bit of form here, be sold for a respectable amount to another Championship club, and whilst thanking the majority of Watford fans for their support in his parting words, also publicly brand the boo-boys and Twitter abusers as LooTown supporting scum.
i'd prefer that too, i just can't see it happening..i wouldn't even be surprised if he put in a transfer request in the summer...
http://www.footballcourier.com/news/story/915698/duo-poised-for-hornets-debuts/full_story.html Unsurprisingly ...it looks like our two loanees are ready to play tomorrow...
I think that we are waiting to see what happens with Tevez. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/9551232.Dyche_hopeful_of_further_signings/
I like how Dyche is always on the ball with his stats, and not just the obscure ones that previous managers used to justify controversial practises such as keeping 11 men back from corners. We got Beattie in, didn't play him, and suddenly our own boys were scoring goals. We sold our top scorer, same story. Both times Sean has been right to bring these things up IMO.
