    You are right.
The standard of the premier league has dropped significantly.
A piss poor Man United team that has won 4 away games all season is top,a lot of people(may I add Man United fans) have said this is their worst team since 1991.
Before you say that says a lot for the rest of the league, you would be 100% right. There has not been one outstanding team in the league this year.
Whoever wins it,even though they deserve to win it,will have won it for this reason and this reason alone and no other.

If that's what makes you feel better following United overtaking your domestic league haul, then so be it.

It won't take long before Liverpool re-take the lead.
Chelsea are over the hill.1st to 4th is not a blip, its a massive decline.
Man United are in serious decline, especially when their fans are believing nonsense about £100 million spending sprees that won't happen.Wayne Rooney may be stupid enough to believe that guff, but I thought Man United fans had more than one braincell.
    Arsenal.Less said the better.
Man City,a bigger circus act than Real Madrid, they should be sponsored by Bounty,as they have a mutiny every season. The half decent players they do have either want to leave or can't play ie Kolo Toure, who thought it was a good idea to take his wifes diet pills.David Silva is homesick, and Tevez wants to go somewhere sunny.Something Smogchester isn't.
A little bit of good management and a decent few quid spent should see Liverpool find it relatively easy to return to the top.

No I don't find that at all funny.
Man United fans(well the ones that haven't joined the Green and Vomit protest) will be dreaming about the top talent they are going to be signing this summer, for it to get to July and Fergie to say '''There is no value in the market''.And David Gill to say ''Alex has money if he wants to spend it''.
When Sir Senile says there is no value in the market what he is really saying ''We're skint and thats the reason why I've to sign a mad french second division player and portugese tramps that I've never seen play''.

Wow! What a clever stick you are!

I notice you're one of the obsessed brigade who never got over Shearer turning you down then? <laugh>

With everything Manchester United have achieved in recent years, you would have thought Alan Shearer would have been forgotten years ago!

Not only did Shearer turn them down.......once.......but twice.
I read a report once that if he couldn't join his beloved toon after leaving Blackburn, the only club he wouldve joined was Liverpool.Plus Jack Walker told him that he could go,but under no uncertain terms was he joining Manchester United.

You're missing the point. I don't care about Shearer. He didn't sign. Big deal his loss. I smile because of Sir John Hall.

Do we need an excuse? We simply haven't been playing well away from home. But we have only lost to a team from outside the top 6 once. And that's why we are top of the league. And that's what Liverpool will have to do if they want to win the league again. Why are you taking constructive comments so personally?

As for West Brom, well by that same logic Arsenal don't deserve to win the league for conceding three goals at home to West Brom, and Liverpool don't deserve anything for getting embarrassed by Northhampton...

No its not funny.Only a Man United fan that doesn't know what the word originality means would think its funny. Then again all their songs and banners are unoriginal and boring.
Example 2003 Liverpool fans had original banners up like ''Don't bomb Iraq-Nuke Manchester''...Man United fans had a St Georges cross with MUFC written on it.

Embarrassed by Northampton?...we lost on penalties with our second string.
What was the score in your game against West Ham.Oh yeah....4-0.
    Now that was embarrassing.

    Are you a complete numpty?

West Ham are a Premier League team. They may be fighting for their lives in the league, but a Prem team they are nonetheless.
Northampton Town (I know about them, because I'm a Northamptonian myself, I go to sixfields on occasion) are a League 2 team and Quite frankly, are ****. They couldn't score in a brothel, and their defence is about as tight as the vagina of an employee from the aforementioned brothel.

Second string or not, Liverpool should have annihilated them. As it happened though, They humiliated you in your own back yard.

Manchester - European Capital of Trophies 2008.

I bet that one still stings...

P.S. What's funny about mocking a war where 650,000 civilians died? Or is that the Liverpool 'sense of humour'?

Couldn't score in a brothel, but still put two past 'pool at Anfield. You couldn't make it up <ok>

King Keneth and his merry men wont be winning the league while hes still alive so stop daydreaming and accept that liverpool are a laughing stock.

you lot get your hopes up over anything.

A change of wind would have you lot claiming next years your years.

have you not got it yet, no year is your year anymore. Deal with it.

Kenny is dreadful........some several trillion years ago when man was but an ape he was good but not now. far better manager around.
