Tell you what, £100 says Utd finish ahead of Spurs this season. Put your money where your mouth is, or crawl back under your rock And how have Spurs been more consistent? Apart from being more consistent at losing and drawing more games than us?
Go on then I'll take your bet - It'd be enjoyable knowing you're sweating until the end of thes season. Also, where have I said that 7th is the future? It would be if you were in that hyperthetical position. Then again, I forget, there was no such thing as football before 92 was there? FFS, lads give ya self a pat on the back for winning stuff. Thing is, it stil rankles ya's that even though we havn't won a league for 20 years, we are still only 1 behind ya - Now that's not a bad achievement is it? And on another note, just in case you were ever in any doubt about Europe, there are four teams that make up the elite group - Anyone like to guess who have won every competition in Europe and which team still isn't part of the elite group of four? Go on, have a gues, go on!
How many teams the won the converted "World club championship" where only the best of the best may enter. enter names below
Seriously? So if Utd finish ahead of Spurs you will pay me £100? And if Spurs finish ahead of Utd I'll pay you £100? Seriously? Seriously?!? Even RHC wouldn't be mad enough to take that bet! P.S. Bayern Munich haven't won the UEFA Super Cup, so they obviously don't qualify for the elite group
none of that answers the conundrum of consistency..you can win but be inconsistent..as in play poor but win....yet a team could be playing well and lose....
Consistency does seem to be the word people try to use when they want to claim one team is better than another but have no way to build a reasonable argument as to why. Probably why the scouser's using it! Besides which, isn't consistency really being able to win or get good results regardless of how your team is playing? Play good and win + play average and win + play poor and win = consistency. Which seems to sum up a lot of our season so far barring the CL...
Liverpool are about as consistent with results on the pitch as man city are at fiddling financial regualtions off it, both pretty poor at hiding the fact they are ****
I think you need to revisit your source mate because there are 4 teams that have won every European trophy and again, once you have checked I'll let you have a secind guess!!
Ouch, I can't believe you hit me with a cup only a select few go into - Damn you and your google internet! Lets look at European Pedigree shalle we and establish which club has succeeded the most - Do you want me to? After all, Europe is the only thing left for you to emulate in.
Hmm, sounds like goalpost moving to me. The 3 official competitive trophies under UEFA are the European Cup/CL, UEFA Cup (several name changes), and UEFA Cup-Winners Cup (discontinued). Only 3 teams have won them all.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_club_competition_records 3 teams have won the three main European club competitions. Juventus, Ajax, Bayern Munich so who is the 4th KPR?
Fail seems to be the popular word on this forum. I think you mean Europe is the only thing you've got left to hang onto! The last two decades must have been like a car crash for you watching Fergie chip away at your league titles record.
A select few that doesn't include Liverpool... As for which club has succeeded the most, that would be Real Madrid. Come back when you've got nine
