Gotta love Warnocks comment, "Good riddance". Certainly no fannying about where Warnock is concerned. Nice to have a straight talker at last managing. You get a little tired of listening to same old cliches week after week

Townsend scored the goal that got us back into the game against Donny, thanks for that.

These youngsters never learn, how many young footballers get the chance to come to a club like Leeds United and gain valuable experience?

    As Warnock says Good Riddance.

I didn't think he was bad and seemed to be really positive when he got here with a huge grin on his face every time he played and spoke to the press. So odd that he's saying he couldn't settle in. Maybe Warnock's right about it being a Birmingham move that's tempted him away. If it's true, **** the little cockney alien-headed Stand By Me-singing prick.

Hopefully Sam will be given a chance now. Never particularly rated Townsend anyway...

Well, who could turn down the chance to move to a big club with a hope of promotion?

He wont be able to play for them either will he? Cant turn out for three teams in a season, Grella couldnt even move to Scotland to beat that rule.

The majority of players, if they'd already entered into a loan agreement.

I'll simply laugh at your implication that Leeds aren't a big club, or that Birmingham represents a step up in terms of club size.

Yeah, and sorry for not being an apologist for greed, disloyalty and short-termism like Andros Townsend has displayed with this loan cancellation. Hope his career fails horribly from here on. :)

    Obviously Townsend would disagree.

Unlikely. Ambition and club size are separate things. I don't deny Birmingham are a far more ambitious club than Leeds, and a more attractive one to mercenary players. But they'll never touch our fanbase, history and tradition.

The fact that he ended his loan spell with you to come and join us.

That must have hurt your egos a little, non?

A little bitter are we? It's understandable.

As for Townsend, I'm sure he'll be a success, like he was for you.
