It's crazy that they have four keepers of that quality and we just have Joe Hart. I can't think of any other English keepers who can give Hart a run for his money. You wouldn't want the two back-up fumblers playing for us in the Euros as they are proven bottlers in big games.

Bring back Paul Robinson(maybe harry can in time). He is far better than both Green and Carson.

Not keen on it but haven't liked many of the kits for a long time, had the away shirt from the 2006 World Cup which was ok.

Looks more like something Poland should be playing in to me.

I know, and it's not as if Spain are renowned for their defensive tactics

He's better than Carson and Green, but still crud

Definitely looks more like a Poland shirt. It's awful.

Were they going to be charged more if they printed in more than 1 colour?

trying to get Paul Robinson back is an act of desperation i know but thats how bad the GK situation is with England now.

as for the new England shirt ? i would not wax my car with it. Poland shirt as many have said with an England badge stuck on. truely awful.

whats with the EFA, poor team and poor kit. its as if they have given up finally.
    maybe the fans should.!!!

Apart from the fact that it's white and red, it doesn't look that much like the Poland shirt, at least it hasn't got a big red rectangle on the front.

I didn't say the current Poland shirt, more like their historical kits.

You can't just drop people on account of being old. If they're the best players they're the best players regardless of their age.

I don't agree with this 'lack of talent' thing, there are plenty of players out there who are good players but haven't had chance to do anything yet on the international scene. However, even I agree that the goalkeepeing situation is weird. Joe Hart is one of the best in the world and annoyingly, the two next best keepers have retired already (Robinson and Foster) so we're having to put up with Green and Carson and who comes next after those 3? David Stockdale? A goalie shouldn't affect our chances at the euros a great deal, but you can't help worrying about that situation.

Also, it strikes me that that squad is short on CBs. Cahill seems to be the best one on there and presumably Richards has been picked as a CB (there are 2 other RBs in there)

Indeed, I seemed to have cocked that up then.

Is the away kit unchanged then?

For now at least, I can't keep track now they're changing them every "18 months", it used to be home kits in odd years, away kits in evens. I'm sure I read something about the away kit changing before the next qualifying campaign though, so I guess we'll have a new one by the end of the year. I was hoping for a return to red, obviously not.
