Fair point, he was a highly rated horse 2/3 years ago and his win at Aintree last Spring showed he still retains talent, certainly well beaten by Chapoturgeon the other week but that was probably a warm Hunter and I can't see anything in todays field anywhere near that level. Point taken though
Stuart Pearce is coming across very well in this press conference. Eloquent, intelligent and his team ethos shines through. I'm impressed.
Afternoon gays easy days racing for winners today. Better make the most of it as tomorrow is shocking
Walter Smith turns down the Wolves job. What are they thinking? Sack McCarthy and try to bring in Walter Smith? Is their 5 year plan based upon relegation?
Afternoon all Quel, I agree, Pearce came across very well. In respect to him getting the job, he seemed to rule himself out, saying that he has offered, if needed to take the team to the Euro's as an interim manager, but beyond that didn't think he was ready!!
Just watching Ferguson going on about the good weed they have got for the trip to Old Trafford 2-0 is good weed

Big day for the Triumph Hurdle market on Saturday - the Adonis at Kempton and Minsk "the pigeon catcher" running at Fairyhouse. Minsk could face some decent yardsticks in Ut De Sivola, Bat Masterson, Darroun and One Cool Shabra but if we are to believe the hype he should win doing handstands.
