I would think so, we were after a striker so would be stupid not to.

It depends who he drops. If he drops Garner then we have issues, but if he sees sense and removes big Chris then we should be ok.

Neither have replied to my tweets. I will keep an eye out though. I would expect news later today or tomorrow.

 

apparently Deeney started light training on Tuesday and therefore is a doubt, and Murray is unlikely to play because we're treating him gently.

Hi geitungur akureyrar, we have met before; great thread .

Personally I am as ambivalent about this game as many of the other people on here, I can see Saints winning because we are on a good run (thank goodness you no longer have Henderson!), however as soon as some of our fans start crowing we tend to come unstuck and our away form is far from impressive.

I think on the balance we might just sneak this due to Watfords lack of fire power, but I must ask what state is your pitch in? Thanks

 

If we can't beat Watford then we don't belong in the Premier League.

Yes, anyone who saw that game and others would expect us to be floundering in the bottom 3 (me included) but we aren't.

Watford are now much improved and we are not under any pressure from relegation so with the 2 new loan additions this week + hopefully Murray at least back in the matchday squad along with your away form I would bet quite a bit on a score draw.
