All Bellars has ever needed is a manager with the same amount of passion and commitment as him, he's been loved by supporters from every club he's played for with good reason, he gives all to that club at that time. Come Sunday if he gets a chance to score he will, albeit a double edged sword that's his current job.
I watched him a couple times at Celtic Park and he loved the club and its supporters, but even though the hoops wanted him to stay he knew his talent was to good for the Scots Prem. He also stayed loyal to the hoops after he left.
I'm unsure. I hate to question his ethics, but if a player comes out and says that, i really worry about what happens in his head when he is running in on goal with the ball at his feet. Does he instinctively put it in the net, or does he think about it and miss? I know he scored against citeh, but that is different, I think he just likes to be supportive of fans that have respected him, but against his home boyhood side, I feel it could run deeper and maybe mess with his game. So I'm in two minds as to would I play him or go as far as not even have him in the squad.
Got to disagree with you here, you might have it in your mind but Bellars will only see the goal posts, he is the consumate professional
Got to say I agree with you SussexBlue and a good example of this is one Robert Earnshaw. Same as Bellars loves the club played for us before but I can’t remember a game when he has played against us that he hasn’t scored TBH. Now don’t get me wrong a different level of player but the same emotions.
I really don't see why people dislike Bellamy. I like players who are fiery, but the problem is most of those 'fiery' ones are more than verbal and use violence (Barton, De Jong, Rooney, etc). Bellamy has always been a good sportsman in that regard, and always seems to stay friends with players at clubs he's been at which is a credit to his personality. Stevie G is similar, but a bit less gobby.
Good question late last night Mossy. However, Swansea is one club I could never see Bellers signing for - too much inter city rivalry and his family live most of the time in Cardiff. It would be very similar to Stevie G considering signing for Manure - never going to happen. Nice to see some sensible debate on here. I'm all for banter, giving and taking, but the forum also encourages good debate.
So the man in the middle of all this is none other than Mark Clattenburg.Let's all hope the final is not remembered for any dubious decisions he makes.
Bellamy quoted in the SWE that he would not lose any sleep if l/pool lose sunday ............You can take the man out of Cardiff but ....................;O)
If anybody needed proof of the dumbing down of educational standards the proof is available in this post! This 'student' hasn't even got a basic understanding of comprehension. As a WUM FAIL
Why a WUM ,Bella`s quoted that statement in the SWE ,true as i sit here waiting for the next speeling policeman to trot by . Don`t mind the Enigma thing Sussex but give a miss to there that Enema thing Look scouser,CALM DOWN ,CALM DOWM ,its only banter mun .......;o)
Reverting to football Liverpool have Stephen Gerrard and we have Anthony Gerrard. Enough said. We haven't a chance.
