I see this Annual event is about to be rolled out for the big party! Let us hope there's something to smile about and celebrate on the day, but I have the horrible feeling there's not going to be much champagne sold! Anyway judgement when it comes to voting on the man who should get the prize this year should be a bit easier than usual as there are the bulk of the squad who should be getting a wooden spoon! It's Mata for me! I'd be interested to hear other views!
Mata has been with us for 4 months. He's been a Valencia player for the other 8. This annual year Ramires is hands down our best player. So far this season I would agree it has been Mata
Ramieres is a good shout. Player of the season is Mata but Ramieres over the last 12 months. Hard to find a single other player whose been remotely consistent during that time though, maybe Terry.
Special mention to luiz who was class last season apart from the odd hiccup, this season however gotta be Ramires or Cech though
To be serious for a mo,I dont think any of our players have exactly covered themselves in glory, but for me it would have to be Ramires because he does put a shift in every game,whereas Mata (who for me would be second) does tend to be really good or he does go missing in games quite a bit,which is probably down to where AVB plays him.Everyone else..........****e.
Is it for this season or the last 12 months ?? Not that it Matas much. Dead heat 1st , Mata and Ramires photo finish for 3rd between Brana, and JT with David Luiz closing fast down the middle. Then came Romeu, Sturridge, though fading towards the end. Boswinga fell at the first, Lampard couldn't sustain his run , and the rest failed to finish, or broke down. Cech threw a plate, while Cole refused to leave the gates, unless someone guaranteed him a trophy.
Thinking about it CP--I 'd say that just about sums it up for me! I struggled between Mata and Ramires, but if they have the first shared prize I don't think there'll be any complaints!
