It's a final and anything can happen. I totally agree with you. Whilst I certainly hope for a Red win, I'm not stupid enough to believe that it's a certainty. I remember Wimbledon only too well for that! I can assure you that all of the Reds that have posted here, are true lifelong supporters. We have all laughed and cried at the things that we have experienced with LFC. We know all of the stereotypical jokes (just as you do with the sheep jokes) and they don't hurt us in the slightest. Banter is good fun. However, from time to time, life gets a little more interesting when a discussion about football breaks out - that's all I was trying to say. I hope you do enjoy your day out and that it sustains you on your sad journey home.
Realistically, everything points to a Liverpool win... Prem v Championship (I wont include Blackburn in the Quarter Final because they were ****e), pound for pound better players etc. I think you'll have to have an off day and we'll have to all click on the day to be in with a chance. But it's a one off and anything can happen - individual mistakes, dodgy referee.... oh, and it'll be a good day out Win lose or draw we'll be the same mate...home to West Ham in the next one and we'll be up for that. By the time that comes around, the Final will be history
Am working away so was trying to do it from my chuckberry knew I'd **** it up but feel free to help me out here haha
WTF! Last time I checked this thread there was 20 posts, now there's nearly 500! You can't rely on anything these days.
That Tosh/Keegan partnership will probably never ever be matched but I think Ian Rush was the better striker
as H says, on paper its a liverpool win, bigger budget, better players etc... but its not played on paper, we have a hard working team who will go to wembley with a game plan which would have been worked on for a long time, the players have won 2 penalty shoot outs already in this competition which shows mental strength, i for one am certainly not going just for the day out, i believe we can win the game in terms of tactics, it will probably just be 2 banks of 4 with miller scurrying around up front and mason playing in between the lines, people like cowie and conway work their socks off on the wings so one thing is for sure it will be a tight game...
Wales is a nation yet our city can more than match that mate. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_people_from_Merseyside
Don't forget it was a Welshman who thought up the equals sign (=... just in case) which is fairly useful as these things go. Also the word 'zenzizenzizenzic' (which means the square of a square of a square, or the eighth power of a number) was devised by a Welshman. OK, I'll admit that last one hasn't changed the world... but it will get you 266 points on a Scrabble board it's good to share
Match what surly not the 15 minute clip that you have managed to watch and compare in just 4 minutes ;-))
