Do players improve after leaving Saints?

    Dyer's doing very well for Swansea. To be fair he was one of our best players when he was still with us though, he always made something happen anyway.

    Lots of the guys who left recently were playing in quite a poor team for us and are now surrounded by better players, so they will look better of course. Some have improved of course, as they were generally young and would have improved with us, but no doubt playing at a higher level has helped.

    This is the same Nathan Dyer I'm thinking about is it..? The one who used to run at defenders, and into them, then lose the ball. And keep at it until he was instructed not to. Then not take on any player until he told to have a go at them again.

    I'm not specifically criticising Dyer here. All the players played crap just a few short years ago because they had zero confidence. Dyer was little different. Though, if anything, because of his youth, he was possibly worse.

    Yeah ok he lost the ball a lot, but he had something about him, he was a rough diamond if you like! And Swansea have polished him into a bit of a gem. Shame about his off the field antics that led to him leaving us...
