I don't know when it will be out. The final patch for FM11 was out in March 2011, if that is anything to go by, but it does vary from year to year. Has also been released on Valentines Day before.
In my fourth and fifth Prem seasons (fifth and sixth overall), I got Southampton to the finals of both the League and FA Cups in consecutive years. I have lost all four finals...to Sunderland on penalties, Chelsea on a stoppage time winner, Man U on a Rooney winner in the 121st minute, and Man U in a 3-0 thrashing. That takes skill.
after the update, its gonna be boring in the first season as we'll literally not need to do anything to the squad except lay off some dead wood. not complaining though as it certainly beats the days of fm09 with a poop squad and no money to spend

Wow that is pretty impressive and must have taken forever...the good news is that Saints are still knocking around the top few divisions in the year 3200. And everyone knows Football Manager is never wrong.
