Sorry to put the DT up so early but I have had a couple of people tell me they missed some good info recently through being unable to find the posts from the day before's threads. Just passing on a little bit of info for CATSPAN 2.50 Lingfield 8-1. Been told that connections are expecting a very good run from this one tomorrow. I would not be surprised if it doesnt attract a lot of support!
Is that double negative intentional stick? Or would you not be surprised if it did attract a lot of support?
One I really like tomorrow is ALI BABA (5.00 Huntingdon). He is currently a 7-1 shot and has shaped with a lot of promise in 3 novice hurdles so far. He did a lot better than the result suggests last time out and a mark of 98 is surely workable. He has a 10lb claimer on tmz (Ciaran McKee) and I am hopeful this one will be bang there come the finish
All The Aces is my bet of the day. 7/4 looks very big for me. Step up in trip should be perfect and the ground looks to be against the other two principles in the market.
How significant is it that Geraghty is riding 3 for Henderson at Huntingdon tomorrow, rather than being in Thurles? Might be a nice little treble
Agreed - I hadn't looked at the card before but I have now. Couple of interesting rides for Ruby but otherwise dire
Nass is in on it as well I see - ffs at least he had a winner today get on Inter in running lads if you can - they are getting in to this and look very solid at the back. PP still have them 100/30
Also shocked that Owen Glendower is odds against tomorrow, Qaspal is a good horse but I never thought he would be a natural chaser. Owen Glendower has been very novicey in his races and therefore I think he is open to a good deal more improvement, and if he runs up to his mark he will prove a tough horse to crack. Megastar really blotted his copybook with me this season, he just looks uninterested in jumping fences and it will take a bit for him to return to form. I am so very tempted with OG, anyone else have any views on the race?
I must admit I quite like Sydney Paget in that race - already won at the trip and I'm not convinced All The Aces will get it. Nass - why do you think the ground wouldn't suit Sydney Paget? Arguably his best performance was over todays trip on Gd/soft, soft in places when beating subsequent winner Grove Pride.
Oddy, I think Sydney Paget is a 3 mile chaser in the making and I personally think his win last time under a penalty was his best form, I think over this trip and in a small field he would prefer softer going which would make the race more of a stamina test. I also think he lacks a bit of flat speed and around Hunts I think he will find All The Aces too speedy.
