Fans planning on a trip to St James park will be the hardest hit as it's now a Sunday 4 p.m. kickoff. http://www.canaries.co.uk/page/NewsDetails/0,,10355~2619675,00.html
I know they have to televise a certain number of games, but these seem interesting choices and maybe I'm reading too much into this but... Do we think: - Having seen our 4-2 match against Newcastle earlier they want this televised for the goals AND they think we might be in similar positions in the table - Having seen our home form they think matches for Man Citeh and Liverpool may be tough here and could have a serious knock-on effect for title/european challenges
I'd say so Rob. My guess is their tunnel vision doesn't see beyond candidates for top four or bottom three; the clubs in between aren't visible through the cataract of unimaginativeness. (Apologies for the mixed metaphors!)
This means consecutive games on sky super Sunday - Wigan and Newcastle More cash in the coffers I believe if we go over the min number of games, I might be wrong
yep, 10 games guaranteed at £0.5m per game. the liverpool game will be our eleventh so an extra half a mil in the coffers
But I think that's the thing- we're not being overlooked... in fact, they've given us an extra game over the minimum (they only gave Blackpool ten games last year). And I think there's one or two more selections of televised matches, which should mean we'll end up with twelve or thirteen televised over the season! That's pretty good to be fair- a bit of recognition from sky that the matches we play in aren't foregone conclusions
