Your post talking about our rivals read as though we need to rely on other teams not picking up points where they should, which ironically I think may have to be the case if we are to get a play off spot.

sorry about that. But i think we shall be ok on our own. I can see 3 of our Rivals fading in March looking at the fixtures coming up. I just dont get how well Birmingham are doing. We out played them for 70 mins last week. I guess its the nature of Hull folks to be dismissive. I remember at half-time at Wembley when the fans around me were saying we shall mess it up 2nd half and lose 2-1 like the league match at Ashton Gate. Have belief mate. Keep the doom and gloom until its over with. BELEAVE and CARE TO DREAM ONCE AGAIN.

BUT WE DON'T SCORE SO WE CANNOT WIN GAMES = Will struggle to beat the teams around us = struggle to make the playoffs

by keeping clean sheets = not losing games. We can always nick a goal so that = Winning games.

Not if you don't nick them it doesn't and recently we've been doing a great job of not nicking them.

You've been predicting other teams dropping off for months, they're not and we can't depend on other teams screwing up, we need to start winning more games or we'll find ourselves falling just short of the play-off places. We've dropped to the middle of the form table and we're falling behind our rivals, rather than overtaking them, we need to start scoring goals and winning games to get in to the play-off's, I'm afraid your blind optimism alone won't get us there.

A win tonight will put us 6th. On form a betting man might go for a 0-0 to be honest.

Looking at GDs, we're not up there with our rivals, they beat lesser teams comfortably, we either scrape wins or draw games.

We're a decent outfit but we've got to stamp our authority more on games and converting chances is the only way.

nonsense. the form table counts for nothing at the end of the day. teams have been dropping off and others will follow. only in 2 months time will any of us know for certain. as of now put the negativity pills away and keep the faith. its not blind faith as you say at all. we are so close to being the best in the league. NB knows goals are a problem but you have to counter balance that with the fact that we dont let many in and have the best defensive team in the league.

Another team dominated, another team we couldn't score against, another two points dropped.

Feel free to post a bit more blindly optimistic bollocks that ignores all the facts. <ok>

I try to be optimistic myself but not bagging as striker in January apart from the untried Man U lad might cost us at the end of the season it seems, we can play great football and not concede but if we don't score then we won't progress as a team.

    1) have to agree with your first comment the game should have been won by Hull City hands down.

    2) i dont post blindly optimistic bollocks as you say - You need to look closer to home for that and the bollocks you often post. <ok>

we shall only know who is correct after 46 games have been played. But like i posted yesterday March is a massive month for all the top 10 clubs and only then shall we know for sure.

i shall say that we should have won by 2/3 goals last night. but the defence once again looked awsome apart from the odd wobble in the first half. when City can keep other teams to Nil then any attempt can be the match winner.

goals do win games we all know that. but like the team we need to stay calm and not panic or have a hissy fit when chances are missed.

i was talking with a Brighton fan after the game and they were very happy with the draw. I asked about CMS and his worth, the reply was that CMS has not only gone off the boil but is not worth anything like that amount. after watching him last night i can see why ? £3.5m for CMS, after last night i would not pay 3.5p for him.

We should have won by 2/3 goals last night and the harsh reality is most of our rivals would have done -hence the reason I think we will fall just short of the playoffs.

As for CMS, I thought he looked a good player, twice the player of McLean - hence the reason he cost twice as much

indeed. maybe CMS was poor becasue James Chester did such a good job on him. but you can immagine what Hull City fans would be saying if we had spent that much on him. afterall, look at the stick Fryatt and McLean are getting at the moment and they cost less as a pair.

imo, Citys strikers need coaching on how to score goals. One on one situations and composure. For me Mclean showed at Forest that he can score goals. Fryatt is playing well at the moment. Hopefully more practice will make perfect.

Fryatt & McLean can score goals, I just dont think they will score enough for us to gain promotion

quite possible but i remain positive that they shall. but i just wonder if city fail to score more than say 3 goals in the next 3 games IF NB will take the plunge into the loan market. afterall, Blackpool away and Leeds & Ipswich at home should be 7 points min.
