don't the vast majority of foreign taken over clubs get rid of the current manager and bring in someone they feel will show loyalty to them and can trust them more with the millions there will be in transfer kitty. so him moving from Reading before he is pushed might be attractive to his employment prospects. Says something when Bruce is interviewed and Mr Morgan looks to poach a manager, even our beloved Phil not to be considered shows how the "mighty" have fallen

IF Reading grant permission for Wolvers to talk to him then yes it looks that way. Interesting situation atm.

McDermott must think his days are numbered at Reading. If he doesn't get promotion with a rich backer he'll be out of a job. He can probably get a 3 year+ deal with wolves which is better security for him. Maybe Nigel should apply....

McDermott may feel insecure due to Reading's new owners, I can see why he would hear what wolves have to offer

Brian McDermott has just agreed and signed a 3 and a half year deal @ Reading. As for Wolvers its a laughable situation now.

What goes around comes around for Wolves owner Steve Morgan and chief exec Jez Moxey, two of the most odious people in football. Curbishley and McDermott have seen how they operate and rightly decided they don't need the dynamic duo messing up their lives...

Any particular reason why you insist on calling them Wolvers?

according to the southern press McDermott signed it just after the russian take over. was part of Majesksi's negotiations.

Wolvers look to be getting desperate now. Curbishley has now pulled out for a 2nd time, Bruce losing interest plus the Wolves fans dont want him. Morgan wont pay the £2m to secure Poyet yet reports suggested that Reading would want £3m for McDermott. Like i said, Wolves is a right old mess and complete laughing stock.

Curbishley says his visions for the club are different to the owners. Curbs wants Wolves to move to the olympic stadium next season!
