At the moment, Whinger and AVB seem to be running their own private competition as to who can be the most tactically inept in one game

 

AVB seems to be somewhat lacking in the man management dept, too. If the stories in today's current bun are to,be believed!

 

I'm sure it's probably exaggerated, but according to the story in The Sun, he invited The players to make comments, or observations after the weekend game. Those, like Cashley, who dared to criticise his tactics were dropped last night. Sounds bizarre, if true.

Villas-Boas: “My mum still backs my plan for Chelsea”

Under-fire Chelsea boss André Villas-Boas has hit back at critics, saying that his mum still supports his plans for the football club.

Following a 3-1 defeat to Napoli, the beleaguered manager defended his team selection, saying, “You can have your opinion but it was based on what was the best team in my thoughts.
