Yeah, now he's going to mope around, making half-arsed efforts on the pitch, looking miserable on the bench and not try until he gets the move he wants...<yikes>

    So, basically, no changes there<laugh>

<laugh> How would you feel after being one of the best strikers in the world to having a Championship Club being one of the few that tried to rescue you from Chelsea. <laugh>

The Tevez one is funnier, Citeh should have agreed, and then told West Ham, that they also had to get him to turn up ;-)

    I was thinking that.
If I take my partisan LFC goggles off and just look at it in footballing terms it's staggering.
If, after his first term with us anyone suggested he might be seriously considered for a championship side within five years, imagine the derision they'd have been met with.
Because of the way he left us and the things he said, I was chuffed he flopped- but I always thought he'd claw his way back to the top at some point, and never thought it'd take this long.
I now think it's possible he may never regain his former glory, and if that's the case it'd be the most spectacular decline of a top class footballer that I can think of.
I'm genuinely starting to feel sorry for him now, though I don't want him to start popping them in for Chelsea, obviously. It'd be a joke him being in the championship though- surely he should go back to Spain and try and rebuild there?
He's still got plenty of years left in him.

It is far far easier to score in Spain. <ok>

La Liga's not bad for getting goals either.

i must say torres is very funny as we were getting goals out of him that year but you could see he wasn't fully himself. since then chelsea have singularly fialed and you must simply wonder if lampard, drogba and terry have a policy of not passing to him or something but he's also missed sitters he never missed with us.

If terry, lamaprd, dorgba and an few others were sacked i wonde rif he'd start....
