I don't care what his pedigree is, I really like Holloway because he is a breath of fresh air in a game that at times sadly lacks time to breathe. When I hear his comments such as the fact that he is good fit at Blackpool because they both look better in the dark - classic. But never forget the fact that he's bringing a very good team to Bristol and we will have our hands full so I don't think we need to show him any respect (we never do anyway). Forget the team he's bringing, I think most City fans would list him as the manager they would most like to beat along with Dame Edna Warnock. Welcome back to Brizzle lad but we all hope you disappear back up the M5 with no points and a rocket up your backside.
Mike can not see any other result other than Blackpool winning,if we play one up front-two up front I reckon we will give them a game 2-2.Lets go out and attack I would rather loose attacking the game as opposed trying to defend a game.
I really respect the man, great for the game, wish there was a few more like him around, he will definitely have his team up for it, he's a gas head through and through, so certainly won't want us to put one across him.
He's our Panto Villain. Got a great reaction from the City fans when he got the Leicester job. He's been excellent at Blackpool. Let's make sure on Saturday we concentrate on getting behind our team, not just having a go at Holloway
Had an argument with the lil **** once, when i walked over to his car to face him he sped off like the lil rodent he is!
"He loves beating you lot. He will have his Gas underpants on" dont think he likes you lot anymore after the way he was treated by your fans during his last manager spell.
Use to play footy with him as kids, the lads done well,a Bristol lad and proud. He wants both teams to do well. Oh by the way he told me once he would love to manage city.
He has definitely mellowed in recent years. I have no doubt that he would love to get one over on us but it is not the be all and end all that it used to be to him and in fact, I remember in one game in recent years that he got applauded off the pitch (by us) and you could see that was truely stunned and moved by it. I think he said as much afterwards...
A long time ago I know but I'll never forget the twat singing this and he don't con me now...
I remember that game very well as I was stuck in the away end with the other 3,000 that couldn't get out. Having battled it out with them all season, that game was effectively for the bragging rights and we bottled it big time - some let the players know and even Big Joe got abuse when he came over to try and calm the situation. Not our finest evening but there again, Twerton was never a happy hunting ground for us except for the last ever derby there which we won 4-2
Yes. It was a tap-in from 6 yards apparently, so he couldn't miss. I have a feeling he will score bucket-loads before the promo party begins
I loathed Holloway as a Rovers player and was delighted the time he was in tears when being interviewed on TV after a big game that Rovers lost...Might have been againsy Port Vale ? But as a Manager, I reckon he's a really top bloke who achieves an awful lot with very little, plays good attacking football with flair, and I would have no issues whatsover if he ever became our boss.
