The guy sustained a broken foot in the challenge - http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11660/7534825/Injury-woe-for-Hunt

Sky Sports understands Crawley star David Hunt sustained a broken foot in the challenge that saw Stoke's Rory Delap sent off.

There were 17 minutes on the clock in Sunday's FA Cup fifth-round clash when Delap was shown a straight red card for a lunging tackle on the midfielder.

The Potters have already lodged an appeal against Delap's dismissal with the Football Association after studying replays of the incident.

However, Stoke's appeal may have suffered a blow with the news that Hunt did indeed suffer an injury from the challenge and is now facing six weeks on the sidelines.

The loss of Hunt, who had played in 26 of the Red Devils' 28 league matches, will come as a massive blow as Steve Evans looks to guide his team to back-to-back promotions.

    My personal oppinion Waddo

The FA are now treating us in the same way that the media & other football fans are treating us, they want us out of this league ASAP.

Now i am not a cynic but:

Huth is a really important cog in our defence & attacking set plays (see goals scored), thats why he was banned.

As for delap, the fa, other managers & other fans realise he is absolute crap, so by allowing him too play (because tp loves him), they now realise with him playing we have a chance of going down.

    Just my thoughts.
