This is gonna be highly controversial but given our recent record with devious geordies can we trust jack colback to do his best against newcastle in 2 weeks time. We have suffered the incompetence of mcenemy and bruce, the disdain of lee clark and the missing of a deliberate open goal by michael chopra. Now I think Colback has done very well but when push comes to shove what would he do? Will he join the line of devious untrustworthy geordies? Seriously, it needs thinking about.

Totally agree wherewereyou. We can't trust any of them for this game.

Is there even any proof that he supports Newcastle? I know he was born in Newcastle, but I haven't been able to find anything else.

    No proof.

But as you can tell from his name 'nomoregeordies' he has an issue with people from Newcastle.

Not sure how Colback as a CM could sabotage the game anyway, and he's already played in the derby games.

    Was SB's & Chopra's family ever threatened?

They were **** scared to beat Newcastle. Still think JC would score given the oportunity.

    Fair comment tho.

Somebody is overthinking the derby defeats. You were simply put to the sword on each and every occasion by the better team. This thread smacks badly of delirium from a lack of successful matches against your recently promoted neighbours.

No one can deny chopra's deliberate miss, bruce and mcemenemys incompetence and clark's true colours. I'm totally serioos, we should leave colback out of this game.

Brucie's incompetence in the derby games had nothing to do with his roots, to be perfectly honest he just wasnt a good manager. I can't believe people are claiming that he made us lose.

Colback has played in the derby games before and hasn't done anything wrong, whether or not Catts should play ahead of him is a completely different debate.

Chopra ****ed up yup, can't deny that.

I don't know who mcemenemys is, care to fill me in?

You're forgetting possibly the club most legendary manager Bobby Stokoe was a 'Geordie'

Mcmenemy was the 2nd worst sunderland manager ever. Only the other geordie fool has a worse win-games ratio record.
