Arshavin has been even worse, wouldn't you sell him first/instead of Walcott ?

The thing is, you can see Arshavin clicking back into gear at some point, he has shown the quality at a fairly consistent level for half a season at least, Walcott hasn't improved since he got to Arsenal in my opinion.

Walcott gets in the starting line up week in week out. So he is a first team player while Arshavin is more of a squad player I suppose. But Walcott has been given the chance to start most games unlike Arshavin. If Wenger had all his players fit this season then this will probaly be the team.

    Chensey

    Sagna
    Kos/Mert
    TV
    Santos

    Song
    Wilshere
    Arteta

    Walcott
    RVP
    Gervinho

Out of those, only Walcott should be sold. Bergie Dutch listed most of the squad players that we should sell.

Walcott will be the last player on the 'for sale' list.
I am convinced he will sign a 3 year extension probably on around £80k a week.

Ps. I know its hard to establish who is a first team/Squad player these days but I think we can agree that Walcott is a regular when fit.

So if as you say we got rid Walcott, who would you replace him with? Or will this be a promotion from within?

I'd like us to buy a winger - not a make-do like Walcott.

AOC is the replacement that is already here. Hazard if we are going to spend big. Then you have players like Andre Ayew who would cost £15 Million plus but not as much as Hazard. Then there is the real cheap option of Junior Hoilett.

Arsenal should unload (the lot I marked) as give-aways and sell Arshavin & Walcott after trying to get the best price.

We need to buy a proven fullback/ CB as they all get injuries.
A proven winger and a creative midfielder.
If we are not going to try Ryo and we don't get Campbell, then we need a striker.
If RVP doesn't sign by the second week of the next window, then we have to buy BIG - as RVP will go,.

Dortmund confirmed that Wenger had in fact bid over 20 million for goetze so that does tell us something.

wengers reluctance to spend paired with our boards eagerneess to cash in on players has not made for a good partnership in recent years.

You would replace Walcott (England International) with AOC? Do you not think Walcott is wasted on the wings?

AOC is the internal and hopefully a last option if we can't get some top players. Walcott as a forward? He might do alright then again if wanted to go 4-4-2/4-4-1-1, I would much rather get a forward like Demba Ba. The West Ham owner has spoken about how he will only cost £7 Mil or so because of some clause in his contract. Within our price and range and him and Van Persie together would be deadly IMO.

Well he isn't very good on the wings, is he? Once in say 5 games?

Are you going to play him in the middle with, or instead of RVP?

Then what if RVP goes? Would you replace him with Walcott?

Why are we bothering with wingers, RVP is never going to win headers, although he seems to get some goals from pull backs from the line by being a yard quicker than the defender.

Ah - but for how long have we got RVP? and for how long will he remain fit?

    - and it helps with a Plan B - what a silly thought.

50 million plus the money from cutting the squad size down is more than enough to COMPLETELY re-mould the squad.

    OUT:

    Bendtner - £5 million
    Chamkah - £5 million
    Arshavin - £8 million
    Carlos Vela - £4 million
    Djourou - £4 million
    Squillaci - £3 million
    Denilson - £2 million
    Park - £4 million
    Fabianski - £1 million
Diaby - offer him a 'pay as you play' contract.

Getting rid of this lot would dramatically decrease our wage bill and give us a considerable transfer kitty.

    IN:
    Goetze- £15 million
    Matt Hummels - £15 million
    Cissoko - £6 million
    Karim Benzema - £25 million

    ----------------------Sczezney----------------------
    Sagna-----Hummels-------Vermaelen------Cissoko
    ----------------Song--------Wilshere----------------
    ---------------------Goetze--------------------------
    VanPersie--------Benzema---------------Gervinho

I'm not a Red Member, never said I was to my knowledge <ok>

I get tickets on General Sale (cos I buy more than one) and from season ticket holders who can't make games sometimes.

Arsenal87 has a ticket he wants to sell because he's not up for the Spurs game. Jayram said he's looking for a ticket too. You should speak to Arsenal87 <ok>
