Typical, they all need to be paid less, Rooney's stunt got him those wages, he threatened to quit and got sorted. Nani will do the very same when he is good and ready, probably in the summer as his contribution this season may be worth a raise. But this season is the first we have seen Nani for real and you think he should already be given a rise a new contract, not even a season playing well? Bit quick off the mark there
Gerrard's stunt in 2005 got his shirt burnt in front of Anfield and a threat to break his legs. But that's scousers for you. You're no KingPepeReina, but you've got promise. The bitterness is strong in this one
Steve Gerrard Gerrard He kisses the badge on his chest Then puts in a transfer request Steve Gerrard Gerrard
I never said Gerrard didn't, players and agents are all at it, but we are talking United and nani, and when he sees a teammate do that, he feels he is now an asset to the club and will absolutely want a new contract. I don't see any stab at united in there at all. All I am saying is that by Fergies actions Rooney is in fact bigger than the club.
I wish ye had the focus to follow the actual subject and discussion rather than the dark bitterness of a 3 1 thumping make you see red when a Liverpool supporter posts. I guess you got nothing to live for in between those United games where you bask in reflected glory, Reflected Glory As I said, Nani is not playing well long enough to justify a contract negotiation, maybe in the summer, and thats all I said really
Thanks for your concern, but I assure you I'm over the Liverpool defeat. For 2 reasons- (a) United actually have trophies to win (b) beating one other team isn't the be-all and end-all of our season
