Bob i totally disagree with you about Smith he looked like a young Reaney in the 2 games I saw him play and one was against premiership opposition Wright Phillips ex England and he made him look very oridinary I wa so impressed I wrote to Grayson about him so he doesn,t become a bad player overnight

Exactly, every player has bad games and I think Smith has shown enough previously to persevere with.

But we are at that point in the season where we can't afford to have players having bad games and just think, yeah hes done well previously we'll persevere with him. 14 games left, still in reach of play offs. We need every player to be putting in a shift regardless of past matches. Even if they don't play amazing as long as they show effort and passion. I think Connoly did nothing wrong to warrant a place on the bench and in my opinion should be at the back 4 along with white lees bruce

Brightons best player was LuaLua and most players would struggle with pace, then with 30 minutes to go they brought on another class player in Noone, poor smith was run ragged all game and Snoddy didn't do anything to help him!

    Smith will come good.

    Enoch,

Connolly against Barnley was embarrassing, and rightfully he was dropped! He was as bad that day as Bessone was the year before!

No, Derry won't be back this season. He wants to play in the Prem and he was never an Elland Rd favourite, settled in London so as he said in an interview on Saturday, he's not considering a move to Leeds.

But connoly has proved before that he is good and usually reliable. If we brought him back in and he has a stinker then he should be rightfully dropped again. But Smith hasn't exactly performed but saying that neither have alot of the team. I'm hoping that when it gets to 2/3 games to go,if there's nothing to play for hopefully as we have guranteed a playoff place then he will bring a couple of youngsters in for last couple of games.

We also were unthreatening going forward that game. Every time Snodgrass went foward he got crowded out trying to take on two players while Smith stood there gormlessly watching, before Snodgrass inevitably lost the ball because he had nowhere to go.

Looks from what Warnock was sayng the other day that Snoddy may play in a more central role giving him a bit more freedom in the process. This might then allow Richards on the right & Sam on the left with Clayton as the holding player. Alternatively, Brown could play as the wholding player in a diamond formation. Either way, Connolly, or whoever plays RB needs to get up & down the line to support the player playing wide right

My brain is exploding. I'd like to see 4-2-3-1, Clayton with Brown or Pugh, with Sam on the right or Rogers on the left and Snoddy and McCormack switching between the other 2 positions. I certainly think 4-2-3-1 is the best formation for providing the support for Becchio form midfield that Colin was talking about.

Since Warnock got sacked all of us at QPR have been certain that he would take some of our players with him to what ever new club he went to. If the move to Leeds had happened during the transfer window I am certain you would already have some of our players either on loan or as permanent signings.

Be prepared for the arrival in the summer of Derry, Clint Hill, Paddy Kenny and depending on what Sparky does with the squad any number of other players that helped Warnock get us promotion.

So far they haven't been the kind of quality required in the Premiership hence our current league position and our recent dip into the transfer market for the likes of Zamora & Cisse but they were the backbone of our promotion winning team and I reckon they could still do a job in the Championship. Not sure Leeds fans would want any of them bearing in mind you did the double over us last season!

Jamie Mackie would be a long shot as Sparky seems to like him and he scored a couple recently but Warnock put a lot of faith in him and he was the one who brought him from Plymouth so if he goes anywhere Leeds have a good a shout as anyone.

    Warnock and Bates though, ouch.

Derry would do a great job for you in the championship and wouldnt be surprised to see him join Leeds and escape the mess that is QPR.
