Yeah was working down your way a few months ago. Cardiffs got a bit poncy since I was last there. Like a very poor mans London really Swansea is a dump like Liverpool but the people are class and the footy team is top quality at the moment.
I think Cardiff is decent mate, especially when there's a game on at the Millenium Stadium, as its got loads of places to enjoy the pre match and post match celebrations, unlike Wembley where there's apparently nowhere close to drink unless you go into the stadium where things cost a bomb (not that I've been to the New Wembley). The rest of the South is a bit **** though, and the North is comfortably better, because its not trying to mimick other areas, and its just unique.
Now Now lads! It's only the first day of this thread and you're already toying with a complete novice
**** Page! NOBODY goes for a holiday in Cardiff - except maybe the Valley Boys and if you see the ****holes they live in you wouldn't blame them Anyway, living this side of the Bristol Channel it's a good day when you can't see Cardiff or its more upmarket sister Newport!
I will go easy for a few days then Dave in all honesty I've had some ****ing great nights out in Cardiff and the Millenium is the best ground I've ever been to...except Anfield obviously
I have to agree that the Millennium is a fantastic stadium and you can do some good shopping and have a decent night out BUT you wouldn't want to STAY there!
Leave them alone... they have Barry Island! please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
The Mersey Riviera resort of New Brighton puts Barry Island in the shade. please log in to view this image
