You know how Grands Crus is being talked about as the first novice to go for the Gold Cup for many a year? Remember how Big Bucks laughed at him at Aintree? That's all you need to know. Dynaste
Sprinter Sacre is a bridle horse, he looks good round Kempton and Newbury but he will get turned over in the Arkle by Peddlers Cross or Al Ferof.
The thing with Big Buck's is that he dosses around and then as soon as Ruby asks him he shoots off and wins easily. He looked trouble at Ascot but as soon as Ruby actually asked him he picked Dynaste up with embarrassing ease. The same was true at Cheltenham. Ruby was rowing away but not really asking (he had said he didn't want to hit the front too soon), as soon as he got serious the horse engages another gear and flies up the hill to win by 7 lengths without any use of the whip. The form looks strong with Mourad winning on Sunday. Hard to see his colours being lowered.
Your only calling him a bridle horse, because he's been so superior over his rivals this season, that he hasn't had to come off the bridle. Peddlers Cross is a plodder, he has no chance of troubling SS, whilst Al Ferof was well beaten by Somersby and Finians Rainbow, and I can assure you Geraghty and Henderson know full well that FR wouldn't get anywee near SS. SS is the best horse in training, you may laugh but until something beats him knowone can prove me wrong
When Sprinter Sacre has won 16 Grade 1 races, spread across 7 magnificent seasons, from 2m to 3m2f, right handed and left handed, undulating and flat tracks, on soft ground and on good ground, including 2 Gold Cups, 5 King Georges, 2 Tingle Creeks, 4 Betfair Chases, and so on, you can then refer to him as 'the best horse in training'. Not a wind up honest.
He has come off the bridle twice in his life and both times he has been beaten, his best performances have come on flat tracks. Al Ferof has the best form in the race over fences, and has proven himself twice at Cheltenham, Sprinter Sacre came there cantering in the Supreme and emptied after the last. Peddlers Cross was not right at Kempton and you will se a different horse at Cheltenham, his form with Hurricane Fly over hurdles is top top class and he looked a very neat jumper on his first few runs. I think there has been an over-reaction to Sprinter Sacre, with the talk from Gerraghty and although he is a serious, serious horse and may well win the Arkle on the bridle, I think he should be more like 5/2 rather than 5/4. He also does not settle very well in his races and the Arkle will be a huge test for him against two very good horses.
By your logic Micheal Schumacher is the best formula 1 driver around at the moment aswell. Kauto Star is 12 years old, and he has lost the last 2 years at the festival. He may have the best overall record in training but he is not the best horse anymore
Keep it up Trainer - you'll help make Sprintre Sacre a better price on the day! He was very raw last year and still ran a blinder behind Al Ferof. This year he has looked invincible. The pulling should not be a problem over two miles. He's my banker of the meeting along with Hurricane Fly. Quevega will dot up in what is a joke of a race which has no place at the festival - I would not have a bet in it out of principle (same applies to the XCountry and flat race). I believe Big Bucks is vulnerable against Henderson's horse. Long Run is a tough stayer with a touch of class - in other words the ideal Gold Cup horse. But it is always such a hard race to win that I would never make anything a banker the Gold Cup.
Sprinter Sacre is a much improved horse this year, he's had a wind op, and he's strenghened up alot. You cannot seriously believe that Frascati Park, regardless of distance could trouble the SS weve seen this season.* I have pointed out before why Sprinter Sacre didnt quite get up the hill in the Supreme, it was a serious error of judgement from McCoy. The Tizzard boy committed for home far to early on Cue Card, and McCoy stupidly matched strides with him, that's why the winning time was faster than that of the Champion Hurdle, so the pair of them were sitting ducks turning in. We already have proof that Cue Card gets up the Cheltenham hill, he romped home in the Bumper, and Cue Card was the only horse who ran a similar race in the Supreme to SS, yet SS finished infront of him. You say he runs to free, this is true, but it was the fact he could run so free and still beat decent horse's, on the bridle, that made Fridays win so impressive. Notice that once he reached the front he settled abit, so I'm sure Geraghty will have learnt, and will make the running in the Arkle, which should stop him Pulling. Even if he does pull though, he's so classy, that he's good enough to pull early, and still win, he proved that on Friday
He beat French Opera the way you expected him to getting 5 pounds. Im So Lucky was beaten 20 lengths behind Somersby and 25 Lengths by Sizing Europe, he was 8 1/2 back in 3rd. It was a nice performance but the pure form dosent look anything special regardless of the time and to shorten him to 5/4 on the back of that was an over-reaction in my book. I wouldnt be surprised if a few bookies tried to take it on and you got about 2/1 or 7/4 the night before.
A bridle horse is one that comes there cruising but finds nothing when asked. You may think he will get found at Cheltenham if they get him off the bridle but your statement is at the moment wholly inaccurate. Comparing the form through the third is somewhat ridiculous too as Sprinter Sacre could have won by a distance had they chosen too.
7/2 Peddlers Cross is one of the worst bets of the whole meeting, he has beaten absolutely nothing over fences, and was easily beaten by Sprinter Sacre LTO. I'd be suprised if he was even in the first 3
He is the horse of a lifetime so prepare to be surprised, if such a thing is possible. Being serious though, he made a bad mistake early, was giving Sprinter Sacre 2 pounds on a track that played to the winners strengths, and was found to be wrong after the race. McCain said he has never been so happy to find a problem with a horse after a race, I think it is clear that Paddlers Cross was not right on the day, there is no way SS is that much better than him, its physically impossible. Cheltenham was built for Peddlers Cross and he will have SS for breakfast up the hill.
Peddlers Cross is all bark and no bite, and should be a double figure price for the Arkle on what he's shown over fence's
dbl figures no wonder your a failed bookie I have taught you a lesson about prices before shergs, i will do it again
A failed bookie? I gamble for a living, hardly a failure. I dont ever recall seeing you on this board before, so I'm not sure how you've taught me any lessons. I suggest you show me a piece of form from Peddlers Cross, which makes 7/2 a good price. the horse is a hype horse, nothing more

I take it as a compliment, that you have to go back to September for my last loser. So youve been banned and youve come back under a new name. I did have my suspicions, you'll be gone once Ron comes back
