I was once on a airplane from Hong Kong to Perth in Austrailia and the woman next to me, who I had never seen in my life, lived in the next street.

Although it's not exactly what the original poster asked, but I'm lucky enough to work with a lot of Japanese guys (absolutely great people). A number of them support a baseball team in Takasago called the 'Takasago Tigers' we've swapped shirts and I've sent them shirts and jackets over. They are very interested in soccer and watch the J league, so a number of them are now members of the Tiger Nation.

So don't be surprised if you bump into a Japanese guy anywhere in the world with a Tigers shirt on. I've been drinking with them in Japan and they've worn the shirt!

After that I've bumped into fellow supporters in Disney world, Portugal and Australia, if you've got a 10 year old son who lives in tigers shirts it always seems to find other Tigers fans and there are plenty spread far and wide.

I met a large group of Hull fans when on a lads holiday in Ibiza, we were all staying at the same hotel and this was just after we had been promoted to the Premiership, so we had a lot to talk about!

I was on my Honeymoon on a tiny island in the Maldives 2008. I was sat in the main bar with my city shirt on when in walks a bloke. Turns out is a city fan from Dunswell.

    Very small world

On my way home from Brazil I had a long stopover in Santiago Airport in Chile and was surprised to find a group of English waiting to go to Peru .Amongst them were a young couple from Yorkshire who supported the Tigers. When I got home I bumped into an older couple in a beachside Cafe in Albany Western Australia who had only left Hull about 6 months before and they were both avid Tigers fans.

I know the strangest places I've seen people wearing Man United, Newcastle, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea gear is - the KC. In the home stands. When we're not even playing those teams. I even saw a fan with a Plymouth hat on at one Premiership game FFS.

Well, here's a place for you to look up on Google Maps.I came to Canada in 1975 (a great place, by the way) and I live on the prairies in Regina (as Mick Jagger said when he was here performing his concert, "the place that rhymes with fun"), Saskatchewan. I was born in Hull and I AM A Tigers Supporter. Go Tigers Go!!!
