Since Don Revie took over as manager at Elland Road, becoming a managing revolutionary and legend of English football over the next thirteen years with Leeds. <ok>

Why? As a former England manager and general legend of our country's football, it's relevant to everyone.

Why would Don Revie, an Englishman as you point out, be relevant to me, an Irishman or indeed the many Scots who frequent the board?

    So no, I won't **** off <ok>

Is there an English football only section I can post in? I'll happily move it there if you provide a link, my friend.

I'd also like to add that Leeds United have thousands of fans from Ireland and Scotland who have started following us since the days of Don Revie. It is relevant to them and any others who admired them in that era for the fantastic football they played.

    :)

    And Girvan, very well said.

That is possibly the most stupid response to a comment I've seen today.

    Well done<applause>

Also, this is the "General" board...stick it on the Leeds or England board

OK can a mod move it to the England board then please, had no idea it existed to be honest.

He made an assertion without any reasons to back it up. In a reasoned argument, I have every right to demand that he give some substance to his argument or **** the **** off.

Never followed in succeeding in the great man's footsteps at Leeds though. A great shame.

That big shiny thing wi' handles is called the European Cup son. Come back when your "won nothing of importance" football club has one of them.

We're already eternal Champions of Europe thanks. And other than Europe, Celtic have won absolutely nothing of importance. Scottish trophies mean **** all mate, your League is and has pretty much always been ****. For your information, we've won the English top division three times, League and FA Cups too, as well as two Inter Cities Fairs Cups and being UEFA's top club for three periods, more than any other British club. "Won nothing of importance"? More likely to be directed at Scots than English clubs to be honest.
