Bristol City Mods I think our board needs a couple of new mods to be a voice for our team, keep the board clean and help it grow. Its not a police role but needs a mature head, easy going fans who can give a bit of time. I've been having ago at it up to now but we are growing and I believe there is a need for different visions and a wider point of view (i.e younger). Question 1 is do you fancy it, and if no question 2 any idea's who would make a good mod..? We need people with a sense of humour,balance and a sense of fair play,it's a voluntary thing and done for the love of our club and fellow forum members. This is not a personality contest and ultimately the final decision will be mine based on nominations or personal requests,feel free to PM me,if you don't want to publicly request or make a statement,all thoughts and ideas,indeed all contacts will be held in total confidence. Please help me with this as we need some quality people to move forward. wiz.
wiz good idea getting someone else on board with you. we have 2 on our board although its not needed however 2 is better than 1 especially if 1 is away from the site for what reason. good luck in your search
Just to update you all I've had some pm's and so far I have 2 confirmed people interested and 5 names suggested.... Update 2....we now have 4 confirmed people interested and 8 names suggested...
shiny, I have to contact all the people and compare ideas,it ain't gonna be overnight and I've got to say after a quiet start the interest has exploded,it will be a few days.

Perhaps the contenders could sing a song or tell a few jokes and we could vote for them in an X factor style competition..
To all BCFC forum members,there has been a lot of interest expressed over the proposed increase in our mods,I so far have had 5 people interested in having a go and another 11 good names put forward. Therefore I have to be respectful to all interested folk and also I will be contacting 2 or 3 of the suggested names,not every one will want to make a commitment of time or energy to do the task and that is fair enough,this will take me some time and I want to make sure I do everybody justice whilst I'm making the choices. My idea is to get a proper balance of 3 individuals,to represent all ages,senses of humour and all the varying amounts of support for our club,my suggestion would be who ever succeeds tries it out for a month to see if they are happy in the role,if they want to opt out,no problem and we start again. I have taken note of the suggestion of a pole or vote but I don't think thats the route to follow,like I said it's not a personality contest and I don't want anybody feeling pissed off because nobody voted for them,it's a public forum and a bit of fun,not a beauty parade,I hope you agree with me. Well said wiz,the site is getting more active,I think many like this site,have to say I prefer it to Otib where I was posting from day one and the site previous. The site is more expressive, and there is not so much bickering from mods and fans on here. A good and fair site.

Hi folks, update 3, progress is being made,I'm pleased to say,no names,no games at the moment but we've have 1 new mod who has agreed to join us,I am still awaiting futher developments on any other decisions..wiz.
