I know how Neil likes this player and to be honest so do I. I think he could do a good job but perhaps another of his favourites could spring to life Michael Brown . What happened to Smith on Saturday? Was He injured because he is going to make a great player
Smith is not doing the business. He was useless against Brighton, stood there and watched while Snodgrass struggled to take on 2 players, time and time again.
I hope not but he could. As you say we already have Brown at our place and we don’t need two of them.
Derry would be a very short term signing, just like Brown. I just wonder if we could get an extra good season out of them if we played them in alternate matches? Brown clearly can't play every match, & I think Derry might be heading that way. Between them, they might teach Clayton a few tricks, especially how to be nastier & get away with it!
Derry would be a brilliant signing I think. Had a good season last season with QPR,even if he only has one season left in him and we get play offs it'll have paid off. We need what Neil said, a leader. Shaun would be that, also it would enable clayton to push forward more and attack.
Not impressed with Smith at all and would suggest he returns to Spurs and then goes out to a League One or League Two side, as he isn't good enough for The Championship. Pish poor against Brighton.
Aye, it doesn't take much to see what your watching and know who can't play at this level, it's pretty clear.
Of course, we could also use the time he played well against Brizzle and the countless times he showed he was a class above in League 1 at Bournemouth and MKD, also his appearances for the U21s...
What I watched was a guy struggling with a poor Brighton team, he was out of position and lacked pace, he also doesn't look like he has the ability technically, so I stand by what I said, he needs to go back to either League One or League Two and gain the experience, it's at his level.
Based on the Brighton game every single one of our players is league 2 standard, and we know that's not true.
Hmmm, there's a few in our team that appear League One standard and that's not just from the Brighton game. O'Dea isn't a professional footballer, he's at best conference level.
Warnock will be able to get the best out of each player. O'dea included, although he's still gonna be as useful as a drum kit for anne franks room
I hope not Derry, I can see us being left with even more dead wood to get shot of if things go tits up. Warnock wants to bring someone in before Saturday so does that mean only on loan or can it be a player out of contract?
Derry would be good but I think it would start to get annoying when he keeps giving our team tactics away to the opposition every week.... But in all honesty we do need a player like him and someone who can be a leader. Think he is a little past it now
