Great read Leeon and very informative and when a team invariably looses the ball i'd rather loose it playing Tiki Taka where you have a good chance of winning it back.As opposed to long persistent ball where every pass/move becomes a 50/50 ball
Here's another excellent read on the tiki-taka style and Barca in particular. http://www.fmscout.com/a-barcelona-style-in-fm-2012.html BTW, anybody who really wants to watch Barca at their very best should make a point of watching the Spannish equivalent of the charity shield, league and cup matches against Real Madrid this season. Madrid have a phenomenal team and Mourinho is a superb coach in his own right .... yet in every game this season, except the last cup game which saw Barca uncharacteristlcally faulter in the second half to a 2-2 tie, Barca have slowly taken hold of the match by the nuts and driven the Madrid players to the point of violent frustration. Does Mourhinho finally have the answer to Barca - the second half of the last game might suggest so as Madrid came back from a 0-2 deficit .... there is one league game left between the two sides, which will be a must watch match.
nice one leon good read Brendan + time + money + some better players + our style = total football............. or signs of progress = tiki taka passing more in zone 7-8 than in zone 2-3 ?
Goalkeeper tiki taka to full back...tiki taka to centre half ..tiki taka to full back ...tiki taka to goal keeper..tiki taka to full back ...ect ect ..................get the drift?
a recent survey has shown 2 out of 3 cardiff fans are ...........just as thick as the rest ! liverpool gonna show you tiki taka pal
Yes excellent read , looking at the goals scored against WBA for example which were started in zone 2- 3 I can appreciate the build up play and the end product.
Funny how that football fans far and wide appreciate our style of football with the notable exception of our lower league neighbours. I get the impression that it's absolutely killing them that we are where we are and are so highly respected, whereas they are not ! Wasn't Envy one of the 7 deadly sins ?
Guys - bit of research and you'll find the author of the website is actually a cardiff city fan. he's mentioned it on his twitter a few times. obviously those who are knowledgeable in football can put rivalry to a side to analyse.... sometimes haha
