Research required for this one, but my personal favourite was a Wolves game in Europe back in 1971 when the same player scored 3 own goals. Benali in mid ninties think it was againts everton? Bessant was in goal the cross comes in and benali diving headders the ball into the top corner would have been a great goal if up the other end!!
Cant remember who was playing. Think it might of been Derby v someone. A corner came in or a cross, and defender smashed a vertical clearance so high in the air it took about 5 seconds for it to come back down. Once it did everybody missed it and just bounced into the roof of the net. I can't find it on youtube so unless I dreamed it!?!?

Noel Whealan? Sliced a volley from the edge of his own area straight into the top corner. If this is right then I want to thank you, as I have always said this is the best OG I've seen but nobody else has ever remembered/seen it so I thought I had just imagined it!
