    The Mackems have finally made it into the big time - ironically, Niall Quinn leaves just as this status is confirmed.

    Martin O'Neill has been the final correct piece in place, they will now kick-on... FA Cup success a very real prospect and climbing the Premier League at a pace.

    Aye we haven't won the FA cup far ages... I was only a teenager last time we won it. How old were you last time Newcastle won the FA cup b.tw.?

    Oh and we haven't won the top-tier in English football for even longer - 1936 in fact. Phew that's a long time... remind me again when was the last time Newcastle won it?

    I beleive Mr Stiller was saying in essence that MON has manged to cure whatever was ailing your team in the first half of the season and that you are now a very good squad, as we have been all season. Agree, disagree, say thank you, but there's no need for aggression

    I think Ben here was being genuine, but he should understand that due to many of his compatriots that come over here to do nothing that take the piss, some of our fans have also genuinely thought he was fishing for bites...
    Back to the OP...What a fantastic tribute it would be to Quinny if we could now go on to win the cup...
