right as most of you know im not the brightest lighbulb in the janitors closet but, does this mean we are getting the ground and nothing can stop it now, it WILL be built
Finally after much wasted money on both sides. Im guessing they withdrew the application because of money as last i read they were going through a no fee no win company so if the company decided they might not win they may have pulled the plug on it as they would only go through with it if they had a chance of winning. Should get the builders down there asap before they make any fresh applications
It's good news but if we're not competing in the Championship then there is just no point in building a new stadium for L1 where we could be stuck for another decade unless it's going to be half the capacity of what is proposed.
I know we have taken the piss over your stadium fiasco, but i am glad you have been given the go ahead. See Banksy its not all doom and gloom. Perhaps we should now bet on who's stadium is built first!!!
Think I should give We Are... The Village Green Preservation Society a listen. The song and the album quite accurately sum up how stubborn and ignorant of change 'greeners' (as opposed to the other 'greeners' who sit outside the council house and get high, of which I used to be a member) can be.
Fair play has BCC finally realised the potential? Does Sainsburys have a contract with City to buy Ashton gate?

Interesting ! "Less than an hour after the statement emerged, solicitors acting for the unnamed person who had brought the action said the legal battle would continue. BBC News reported on Twitter that both Cardiff Admin Court and London High Court say the case is still live and will go to hearing. It is therefore unclear as to whether Bristol City FC’s long-running bid to build a £90m stadium has been given the green light or not."
"It is important to stress the club has only been and remains an interested third party in this matter. As such we await official confirmation from the court and the parties engaged in this legal process that the Judicial Review process has ended.
