While watching Sky Sports News last night I caught an interview with Tony Pulis (not my favourite manager). However he made a point about clubs and managers not being in favour of friendlies. Saying that they interrupted the league programme and generated injuries. He reckoned that if players were taken from their clubs to play in friendlies then the FA should pay their wages. I think that I tend to agree with him.
That same arsehole would be shouting from the roof tops if he was trying to get someone a work permit, pointing out what an established international he is. Managers want cake, and they want to eat it.
Hang on mate, the club pay the fee, the club pay the wages, and if they get injured playing for their country, the club suffer. We all know by now that Blatter is a lying little scumbag, so why shouldn't Fifa be responsible for insuring them whilst in thier custody and control, it would not happen in business, no way. Then again why should Fifa be able to ruin a club and fans dreams, In society if you put nowt in you get nowt out unless your name is Sepp
I admire the logic of your argument. Nevertheless, I just cannot ****ing stand him. Whenever he comes on the box my missus leaves the room as I start frothing at the mouth and shouting and swearing and throwing things .......... see what he does to me?
