Quel I thought New Year's Eve was more impressive at Market Rasen - absolutely murdered a good LTO winner and has real acceleration
Any Everton fans out there? Gwladys Street runs in the first at Carlisle - isn't that the name of the away end at Goodison Park?
Population is better than New Years Eve imo . Love all these different opinions Man In Black can't breathe
He went into my tracker as well RV. They'll have a proper jockey on next time and he'll win most bumpers unless of course they run into one of Willie's best. I just liked the size of the winner. He's all scope. Stayed on really well which was impressive and responded to a bit of pressure which is what I'd rather see than a procession against total dross. We know he'll fight when the questions are asked.
I've not seen New Years Eve but heard he's good. Apparently he's Ferguson's best. Whether that's true or not is up for debate.
No betting today but Grafite looks worth an e/w interest in the 3.05 at Carlisle - sluiced up 2 runs ago and raised 11lbs he ran a cracker LTO behind Cotillion. Young Brendan takes 5 off again and 12/1 looks interesting.
Hello lads. Nowt for me today...bit miffed as to the way my two ran yesterday..must have had an overnighter at the Nicholls yard! Good luck with DIFD Stick...looks the part alright with three course wins and still off 123. The Arkle is gonna be a cracker and agree SS is short at evens. He did take a hell of a pull on Friday, maybe he was just a bit fresh after being held up by the cold snap although he does seem to a keen grip most times he runs. It takes a very good horse to run so free and win...HF did it in the CH last year but few last home. I probobly won't be having a punt in this as I really don't see any value in the current market. You won't need a bet to enjoy to this race.
Just caught a glimpse of that irritant Matt Dawson on telly. Does anyone have any particular sports people/presenters that really annoy them.
It is Oddy... and if runs anything like the state of the Gwladys street end at everton then it will run a stinker...!!! Of all the footy grounds ive been to Watford and Everton's are the worst... If im right then its the oldest 2 tiered stand left in the country... It was also one of the first 2 tiered stands to be errected at a football ground in this country...!!! They havnt done much work to it over the years, trust me...
I think I dropped a bit of meat pie there in the late 1980s ................. probably still there I used to hate going to Goodison park, they always beat us. Except 1 year on Boxing Day when David Hirst scored the winner and I got my end away with a lass from Formby. Happy days
Just looking at the Ante Post betting and after a very good looking run at the weekend Riverside Theater has shortened to 4/1fav from 9/1 on Pad Pow for the Ryanair Chase... Do we think that RT is the real deal to take this...??? It was a good run, a goo round of jumping and hard not to be impressed with that win on sat... Any thoughts...
Oddy - A formby girl... you picked a bit of class there...!!! The type of girl who would have had clean knickers on when she left home...!!!
Red he should go for the Rynair now - I think it has always been the plan. He is the one to beat for sure although I expect Rubi Light to run a big race as well and maybe Kauto Stone if the Nicholls yard gets back to form. Right pub time catch you all in a couple of hours NAP today is that pipey horse beginning with Q in the 3.05 cba to find its full name have backed on its own and in a double with AL FREEJ
He was very good on Saturday red I did hear someone suggest he might not be as good on a left-handed track .................... he's run 6 of 16 going left handed and won only 2 of them - a novice hurdle and a beginners chase, both at Newbury. His only run at Cheltenham was a staying-on 5th behind Sizing Europe in the Arkle. Going right handed he has won 7 out of 10 including 2 Grade 1s (Ascot Chase twice), a grade 2 (Wayward Lad Chase at Kempton) and ran that very good 2nd behind Long Run in the King George.
Good luck Stick today, I like 3 today: 305: Dusky Bob has had his recent form franked! 340: Course specialist Do it 4 Dalkey 410: Teenando looks thrown in with the claimer aboard and also loves this hard course Money today for Boston Bob for the Albert! Wish Mullins would let people know what's going on LOL As for Mr Nicholls, not all the horses will be affected as he has 2 yards, I would guess we need to find out who is in the same yard as Zarkandar
RT's jumping was good enough to think that i left hand jumping track wouldnt be too hard to adjust to... but that stat of only winning at Newbury twice is a bit of a worry... I might wait till the day as i think the 4/1...(sorry, i posted 5/1 earlier...) might stay until the day... i will keep my eye on it...
You're better waiting - there are a lot of well fancied horses in the race and I can't see him being any shorter on the day
