Sky Sports and the BBC are both saying that Grayson is taking over at Huddersfield. I wish him the best of luck and hope the bitter Huddersfailed fans can look beyond his links to their larger neighbours and I hope he gets them up.
they'll forget his links as soon as he does well for them. All the best to him, will be interesting to see how he does with some money.
I agree with an earlier comment - Will be very interesting to see how well he does now with some financial clout.
I wish him all the best, it's a shame its Huddersfield he's gone to as I'd rather they weren't promoted.
So now Huddersfield are being managed by a Leeds fan and Leeds are being managed by a Sheffield United fan Could only happen in the backwards County of Yorkshire
Yes because in every other county the managers are all boyhood fans of the teams they currently manage. That must explain why Watford fan Kenny Jackett is manager of Millwall.
Born in Watford and spent his whole playing career with them, but he is the longest serving manager in The Championship
Some of us Yorkshire still have a fan as their manager. He's one of own, He's one of our ooowwwwwnnnn, Nicky Barmby, he's one of our own.
Will be cheering Larry on @ Udders. They have got a decent board there who will support him financially. At Leeds Grayson has had to deal with his best players been sold and been given little cash what so every. People go on about his poor signings but what do they expect, most of his signings have been free agents and players usually are only allowed to leave the team as a free agent if they're not good enough. When he has been given money (if he was extra lucky he might of got to spend 500k) his signings were amazing. Gradel, McCormack, Lonners, Clayton, O'Brien (till he refused to play) ect. I'm sure Larry will get Udders promoted and will sign some fantastic players for them with the financial backing a manager of his quality deserves.
Very best of luck to Larry. I feel he may have found his level there. He's undoubtedly a very good league 1 manager. I don't think his patchy performances with us this season were just down to lack of financial support. We'll find out though over next couple of seasons
LOL, I wish! Wonder if he'll be signing up any of our office staff too? Or will he concentrate on 'developing' new talent?
Official: Grayson is the new Huddersfield manager. Huddersfield fans can now look forward to the following; a) Dire football b) Poor man management, especially being aware of ill health within his team. c) Relationships with players hitting an all time low d) Tactical ineptness e) Boring interviews, that don't actually say anything. Still he has got 2 team out of League One, so he must have something for this division.
