Yes I know the title is a bit controversial but read on before jumping to conclusions. The question is in regards to how our club is administered not on footballing issues. We all know that the club is run smartly on a financial basis, not on a shoestring by any means, but still very tightly watched. We won't be bullied by greedy agents, players or bow to pathetically overpriced players from other clubs ( Andy Carroll beggars belief it really does). We have succeeded and survived two seasons now running the club this way but in the long run will we need to abandon the trail we currently follow and come into line with other over expending teams or continue to be frugal with club finances and maybe accept our place in what possibly could be construed our comfort zone of the CCC. Your thoughts PS I was pretty bored when I thought this thread up so don't take it too seriously
Simply put, with pulis in charge we belong in the championship. The truth hurts. Its Horrific to watch, negative, gutless, clueless and very very annoying. From what the squad was 4 months ago hes done a very good job of destroying it. Well done TP im loving the 3 year plan!!!!!.
What I don't understand is WHY ALL OF A SUDDEN, people are saying: "horrific to watch etc.." and commenting on our unusual, set piece style of play.... ITS BEEN LIKE THAT FOR YEARS!?! Like it or lump it, we've been playing like this for a while now, especially since the arrival of Delaps catapults.
Quite often a team need a day of training when their forms been as bad as ours. You know how sometimes you can't do something right, and the more you try you get worse? Pulis said himself, at this point of the season you can't make a drastic change to anyone's physical abilities, but a day of fun and "team building" can do a world of good for their mentality.
Jub the difference is we had to play like that because we didn't have the players. Now we do have some half decent players he still choses to play like that which is why everyone is so frustrated. The selling of Tuncay was the death knell for Pulis and it clearly showed the guy really does not have any ambition or know how to play flair players!
