If I may chime in, I believe that the key to writing a good thread (and avoiding abuse regarding said thread) is to genuinely have something interesting to say. This thread doesn't interest me particularly, but I will say that Lallana's outfit is ridiculous and his girlfriend either needs to start dressing him or stop dressing him.
I make you right. This is only light-hearted and the title itself says it is not football related, and by hovering over people can see further this is not the case. Ripping into people over something you do not like or find amusing doesn't really count for much. Just read a different thread. If mods want to move or lock the thread, then they are more than entitled to.
Yeah I took some crap because the thread I wrote about Le Saux turned into a political debate, and a few people didn't want to read it. However, there were plenty of people engaged in that thread and enjoying the debate. It's not in my interest to try and please everyone, and nor should it be in yours. If people aren't interested in the conversation, then they should move along without comment.
Sometimes you have to accept people have opinions, and some feel obliged to always share them with others. So you'll get people telling you your thread is sh*te if they think it is, because they seemingly have to share their opinion with you. Something you have to deal with.
I wonder if spending your working life in a red and white striped nylon shirt deadens your sense of good taste.
