The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away.

The trip and sedate gallop found out Carloswayback who stayed on nicely at the end.May also prefer softer ground but still one to keep an eye on.

The rains didn't arrive for Berties Dream unfortunately.I don't think the form of that race is up to much tbh with the whole field in contention going toward the last in a 3m chase. He was staying on again before making a terrible blunder.

A lot of the early season soft grounf form getting turned over in Ireland with the arrival of better underfoot conditions.Time to be careful with form lines over there.

Oddy you like coincidences...I looked at a house in Belfast recently in an area called Cave Hill...I see something of that nomenclature just won at 28/1 but i'm too sober at present to get sentimiental about punting!

Well done those in the winners enclosure and payout window.

<rofl>...he is even worse than Robert Walford although he has won a G1 race.

He looked a bit of dog the way he carried his head...can't see him ever beating the winner tbh.

I disagree dex - watch the race again - settled right at the back - in front 4f out <doh> sitting comfortable 1 1/2 f out whilst the winner is under pressure <doh> clown of the highest order. Plus the winner has already had a run - experience and a **** jockey cost defy logic today
