Watching the game live on ESPN, Carroll's situation is frustrating to say the least. Performance overall has been positive so far
Every game we go on about the fouling of carroll, even espn commenting on it now though so that can only help our cause. Could do without him complaining about every single challenge though.
I also think Suarez is left to do most of the ground play up front on his own, whereas Carroll is getting service from midfield and wastes it most of the time.
wholeheartedly disagree. Service to both has been poor, but Carroll has been immense when it comes to winning balls in the air, he drops them well for players. They're too spread apart on the pitch to really have any effect on each other so far. Suarez has plenty of space to run, And when the ball is launched in Carroll steps up. So I think while they don't compliment each other, they certainly don't get in each other way, and it's a positive for Liverpool to have both on the pitch.
