I think you are overrating him here. No matter what the stats say, anyone with an ounce of football knowledge can see he brings nothing. He doesn't cross it, granted when he does there are rarely players there, but he rarely gets it past the first man. He never takes players on, Enrique is consistently further forward or closer to the touchline. He ALWAYS cuts inside and passes it, or occasionally crosses it with that pathetically weak right foot of his. Seriously what do Sterling or Suso have to do to even get on the bench, i mean they can't be any worse than useless can they?
The Full F.A Cup Sixth Round Draw: Liverpool/Brighton Vs Stoke City. Chelsea/Birmingham Vs Leicester City. Stevenage/Spurs Vs Bolton Wanderers. Everton Vs Sunderland.
If we win today we'll facing Stoke City for the fourth time this season Wasn't it the quarter finals in the CC aswell?
I said purely discussion. Didn't say I necessarly agree that he's good...I just prefer where everything is considered or they're more a slinging match rather than a discussion.
Downing starting again FFS? he's over the hill and will never get any better. Wish we'd give some time to the youngsters ffs
Good chance for Downing to have a good go today, how many times have see thought that this season though?
The Brighton team: Brezovan, Calderon, Greer, Dunk, El-Abd, Buckley, Bridcutt, Navarro, LuaLua, Vokes, Barnes. SUBS: Ankergren, Noone, Mackail-Smith, Vicente, Harley, Vincelot, Agdestein.

He's average. Was average at Villa, is Average now, will always be average. He's an £8-10m player by those stats. Not £20m. Cant believe we didn't go for Turan, he ended up going to Atletico for £10m and is doing a darn sight better than Downing and is 7 years younger.
Thanks for that. Don't need to bother watching the match now Seriously though, should be a good open game.
