    Morning all.

    I've just come back from the Albert Pierrepoint Annual Appreciation Society dinner and I must confess I was introduced to a fantastic initiation ceremony game for people who may possibly not be suitable for our esteemed group.

    What you do is suspend them with a rope around their necks from the railings of the smoking terrace upstairs in the Strawberry with a copy of the match programme from the first leg of the Fairs Cup final.
    If they can read it from cover to cover whilst singing every verse of the Blaydon Races without passing out or whinging spinelessly about having a sore neck or even worse dying, then possibly and again I stress, possibly will they be considered for the real men's initiation ceremony.
