Head over to the nomads board. Some of the comments are hilarious. Piskie is still defending Wenger and is getting a right slating by Jayram and co. Oh it's a great time to support the Pride of North London at the moment. COYS !!!
Jayram picks a side and relentlessly goes for anything that even remotely backs his views, no matter how tenuous or even fabricated it is. Lets not forget he was trying to wum our board at the start of the season. If he was a Tottenham fan, he'd be on my ignore list.
This is the best entertainment money can buy! And what's even better, it's for free! PESKIE's blind optimism has now gone beyond the stupid and has entered the realm of the absurd. If Freud were alive today, he'd have to invent a whole new branch of psychiatry to define PESKIE's madness! It's wonderful stuff! If only I had more space in my signature, as there as some right gems being written!
It looks as if their board has split into three camps: In Wenger We Trust In Anyone But Wenger We Trust Let's Hunt And Kill Ivan Gazidis There's only one way to decide... please log in to view this image
He's not right. It can't be true that a lack of spending, an inept manager and **** players who don't care can amount to a team that wins what you all called a tough CL group and is 4th in the league(same position as last season). I'm not going to get into a discussion about this on here though, it's a bit off topic.
Following the last Arsenal trophy win, an Arsenal fan that I know told me that Wenger should leave the club at the end of that season (04/05), as it would be the last trophy that he'd win at the club. Seemed a bizarre thing to say at the time, but he's been deadly accurate with that prediction, so far. The funny thing about the Arsenal fans at the moment is that they seem to be dishing out the blame to everyone and everything connected to the club. The manager, the board, the players, the coaches, even their fellow fans. I blame Piers Morgan, personally.
The 2006 CL final was supposed to be the night where it all came together (ignoring for a moment they finished fourth in the Premiership and were knocked out the FA Cup in the fourth round...), but instead they got swept aside by Barca even after taking the lead following some sublime Eboue skill (read: he fell over half a yard away from the nearest tackle) But if you prefer to giggle... So all they need to do is spend at least £50m on Hazard and Gotze, plus another bundle on a centre forward, a defensive midfielder and another centre back, plus reshuffle the board? To get those funds they'd need to sell deadwood like Almunia, Chamakh, Djorou and Squillaci, whilst cashing in on Walcott and Arshavin. Well, that'll cover the centre forward, defensive mid and centre back - if they want Hazard and Gotze, they need to bid a fond farewell to Van Persie.
He's a season ticket holder at Arsenal and has been for many years. Seems like he spotted the rot setting in before anyone else, though.
I think,in all honesty,Arsenal are no good if they don't have two goalscorers and about five animals in defence!...not to mention a decent goalkeeper! Cudicini is many times better than what they've got....and he's our reserve!!!!!
Regardless, I wouldn't want to predict the result of the NLD! It's almost the exact same situation as the earlier fixture this season though I think - Arsenal on a bad run, us on a good one. We should've played better and beaten them by more than 2-1 tbh - still, I'd take another 2-1 victory to us
Should we win, can it be by three 25-yard screamers. That way Wenger can't try and deflect blame away from himself with ludicrous claims of offside or handball, nor can he say the game was close.
Like Chelsea, I expect them to raise their game beyond expectation because its us, I'll be surprised if they can't motivate themselves for this one and 'don't turn up' at home. I think we'll shade a tight game.
Nah....I want Bale to punch one in Maradonna style, lennon to cross and it hit every gooner in their penalty area before not going over the line but the ref giving it anyway, for vdv to volley the ball 9yrds wide only for it to deflect in off the ref and for them to have 4 perfectly good goals ruled out for offside.... Can you imagine the hissy fit that would occur during and after that?
Arsenal board really has been great entertainment indeed, recently. We should all be grateful to Not606 for allowing us to see this kadooment right before our very eyes. There is actually someone on their board calling for Boycott, but didn't he play cricket, as an opening batsman for Yorkshire ?. Surely he'll be no good for them,.... even in goal. There's another guy calling for a protest march. Well thats good, excellent I say, because, there've already marched from Woolwich to Highbury, then to some-where off the Holloway Road. Some of their fans undoutedly must be tired of marching by now. Those that are not tired of marching are apperently getting itchy feet., so I hope they do march; march away, march 'till they little hearts are contented,. whilst marching perhaps they'll find another place to set up camp (somewhere preferably much, much further away from 'The Lane')..... lets hope so !!!.
Exactly this - if we turn up and roll them over 3-0 for example, I'll be extremely surprised and it'll say a lot more about Arsenal's current state than the AC Milan match and the FA Cup defeat.
I think we'll beat Arsenal, and do the double over them, this season. Our lads should have every confidence going into that game, whereas Arsenal will be apprehensive. My only regret is that this will not be the result that heralds St Arsehole's Day, because that would have been the finishing touch to a great season, so far.
